Water Restoration Mounds View is a referral service. We are not a restoration contractor. We do not perform water damage restoration, mould remediation, plumbing or reconstruction work. We connect property owners with independent restoration companies serving the Mounds View, Minnesota area.

What we do and do not do

When you call the number on this site or submit the request form, your contact details and a description of your situation are passed to an independent restoration company that services your area. That company — not this site — performs any inspection, estimate or work, contracts directly with you, and is solely responsible for the quality, timeliness, pricing and outcome of that work.

  • We do not employ restoration technicians and we do not dispatch our own crews.
  • We do not inspect properties, write estimates, or perform any work at your property.
  • We do not set or control contractor pricing.
  • We do not adjust, file, negotiate or guarantee insurance claims.
  • We do not warrant, guarantee or insure any work performed by any contractor.

How we are paid

This service is free to property owners. We may receive a fee from a restoration company for referring an enquiry to them. That fee is paid by the contractor and does not increase what you pay. A referral fee arrangement does not constitute an endorsement, and you should evaluate any contractor on your own terms before hiring.

Verify before you hire

Being referred through this site is not a substitute for your own due diligence. Before authorising work at your property, we strongly encourage you to:

  • Request the contractor Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry licence number and verify it independently. Under Minnesota Statutes 326B.802, a residential contractor or remodeler licence is required for owner-direct residential work involving two or more special skills.
  • Request a certificate of insurance showing general liability and workers compensation coverage, issued directly by the insurer.
  • Get the scope of work in writing before work begins.
  • Read any work authorisation carefully, including any direction-to-pay or assignment-of-benefits clause that would transfer your insurance claim rights to the contractor.

No professional advice

The content on this website is general information about water damage, drying, remediation and related topics. It is not professional, legal, medical, engineering or insurance advice, and it is not a substitute for an on-site assessment by a qualified professional. Building conditions, water categories and safety hazards vary enormously between properties. Do not rely on general guidance from this or any website to make decisions about the safety of a structure or the health of its occupants.

Emergency situations

If you are facing an immediate risk to life or safety — structural collapse, electrical hazard in standing water, gas odour, or a medical emergency — call 911. Do not wait for a contractor.

Accuracy and local regulations

We make a reasonable effort to describe local conditions and municipal requirements accurately, including references to City of Mounds View programmes and ordinances. Municipal requirements change. Nothing on this site should be treated as an authoritative statement of current City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, or State of Minnesota regulation. Verify any regulatory question directly with the relevant authority.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, this website and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, from information published on it, or from the acts or omissions of any independent contractor you engage. Your contract for any work is with that contractor.
